There is a great article by Tom Marshall from the Mt Sterling Advocate about Casey’s Law. Charlotte Farris who is the owner of Commonwealth Behavioral Health and Counseling in Mount Sterling and MC ADAPT Treasurer, along with ADAPT member William Cotton who is also Director of Peer Support Specialist at Commonwealth Behavioral Health and Counseling, have been working very hard helping people with Casey’s Law in Montgomery County. They have teamed up with Senator Dr Ralph Alvarado who is offering assessments at low cost for families. You’ll also hear from ADAPT Chair Dave Charles and ADAPT Co/Chair Bobby Stinnett who have been vocal advocates for Casey’s Law and why the law is so important in fighting addiction in our community.
You can watch our recent Meth Forum on our Montgomery County ADAPT Facebook page.
Meetings are located at the Montgomery County Library. Anyone is welcome to attend. Meetings always begin at 10am.
